~Eon Riders~

~Where Legends from the past are brewn anew~

An Overall View on Animals and Pokemon Alike-

Pokemon and animals are counterparts, the same beings in different worlds.

Of course, you've never seen a horse with a flaming mane, a yellow electric mouse, or a stout, red camel with miniature volcanoes on their backs in the real world.

We may have Pokemon as pets, allies in battles, as true friends, or even family. I'm sure that legions of loyal fans have gotten so attached to a few(or all) of our in-game partners that we've cried(Well, I know I have)when we lost our game paks, when our Gold and Silver batteries died and you lost your file and the ability to ever save another file on, or even if annoying siblings delete your 300+ hour file on your favorite game.

The same goes for the real world. One may be attached enough to cry when a beloved pet dies, especially one you've been with almost your entire life.

We may even name our pets after Pokemon(The betas I have owned during my life have been named Magikarp, Goldeen, and Milotic. The same goes with our geckos, Arbok and Dratini.)

Yet through all the similarities, There is a world between them, literally.

Animals are treated much poorer in our world, per se. If Pokemon existed on this earth, they would  be hunted for food, game, and fur, instead of the poor animals today we have. Is that how we treat our beloved friends?

Those who immerse themselves constantly in the games, anime, cards, and more should know for a fact that Pokemon training is not any form of animal cruelty-at least not with any half decent trainer- that Pokemon is not offensive to any religion, and many more...

A loyal dog can be a best friend, so can a loyal Arcanine.

You can teach a parrot to talk, and a Chatot as well(At least to some extent)

Wrapping up, the next time you see a butterfly, a hawk, or a tortoise, think of how it relates to a Butterfree, Fearow, or Torterra.

You will probably wish Pokemon were real. Which is why I'm writing a second part to this.
