Ash and Pikachu are like true brothers, allied in what ever they do, through thick and thin, through the toughest times and the greatest laughter. Ash in the very begining was very stubborn and not too bright, but nearly all 10-year olds are. In fact, it is something you would expect. As he grows older and matures, he realizes the true values of Pokemon-not as machines just for fighting-but his best friends, allies.

Now here you may say something about the banned episode Electric Soldier Porygon: 685 seizures? Pokemon is not to be singled out and persecuted for this mishap of special effects. The same thing could have easily happened to any other show, perhaps one even more popular among children, and not to mention immature humor-Spongebob Squarepants. Don't get me wrong, I love SpongeBob too, but let's say a new episode of it caused 323 seizures, less then half of Electric Soldier Porygon. How would Spongebob be judged? Worse then Pokemon thanks to its immature content? Or not as bad for reasons unknown that seem to prove how ingnorant people are about Pokemon? Perhaps if they saw into the heart of Pokemon, they would change their minds about the 'annoying electric rodent' Pikachu and his 'idiot trainer' Ash Ketchum.

But as we know the media today, this is almost certain to never happen. Heart is the true secret ingredient to anything, be it a movie, a show, or a book.

The heart of Pokemon burns stronger than most.
