~Eon Riders~

 THE OLD SITE

A long, long time ago, a newb named SilverLatios47 found her way to the wonders of freewebs.com. This was about two years ago, actually. The old site was called Eon Island, for my infatuation with Latios and Latias. This site no longer exists, as I found it puny, terrible, and very newbish. It even had a page dedicated to Arceus alone.

THE BIRTH OF EON RIDERS

Soon after, in the September of '08, inspired by many Pokemon sites(Freewebs or not), I decided to come back. I changed the name of the site to EonRiders, more fitting to what I hoped to become. The old banner was hideous, victim of my terrible art skills at the time. I drew it on a program called ArtWeaver, as oposed to my usual Oekakiing-

STRIVING TO BE KNOWN

I expanded a bit, posting the typed chapters of a wolf story I planned on publishing at the time. I still continue to type and update it. A bit more used to being a webmaster, and feeling pretty good about her still terrible art skills, I drew another banner on oekaki.

GROWTH FOR NO ONE

I still had difficulties with Lati@s anatomy. EonRiders grew content-wise, but was still as empty as ever. That never changed, as it is still an unpopular website. I think I went on a shortish hiatus, overviewing Halloween of '08. I decided to make yet another banner, but with a Pokemon I was obsessed with at the time, Celebrating Platinum's announcement in Japan.

WINTER OF '08

Giratina, in its Origin Forme. Pokemon Platinum is still high on my wish list, but my obsession soon passed. I entirely forgot about this lonely website for nearly a month. When I finally decided to update, I decided to draw a Winter Banner, the one you see below. At the same time, I also concluded to make a 'Site History' page, to be updated every time a different banner greeted those who clicked on a link.

IMPROVEMENTS IN POPULARITY AND CONTENT

For another long period, I lost most interest in EonRiders. I lost an absoluely beautiful Leafeon banner, which was drawn to celebrate spring arriving. After a while, near the end of May '09, I got motivation in the form of HeartGold and SoulSilver, and pulled together a quick new banner, of Lugia and Ho-Oh locked in battle. Little Silver worked as hard as she could, adding content, and getting some nice traffic from a few sites, newly motivated to work.

MAKING NEW PAGES AND FRIENDS

I continued to work hard on EonRiders, because I wanted to eventually have a big, beautiful, and popular website like The Cave of Dragonflies. I skittered around many unpopular Pokesites, helping them move along and adding some hits to their pages. I still had no inspiration to create a new banner, because I already didn't like the previous one. I added some new pages, upgraded my Guestbook, and made some Affiliates. Finally becoming the slightest bit known among other guestbooks around the web, little Silver finally created a new banner, and updated her template too. This banner marks the start of a better Eonriders.
